The 3rd version of the LEGO 3-seater chairlift! Completely redesigned with sturdier supports and a thicker haul rope!
This updated design allows for even more variations and steeper slopes. It runs smoothly and quietly, with built-in shock absorption! Now featuring a thicker haul rope, which requires a different mounting method for the chairs.

3-seater chairlift – some important informations
For experienced builders only! Recommended for ages 16 and up.
Thank you for considering this building plan! It has been crafted with great care. The assembly process requires time and patience, and all our original designs have been fully built and tested!
Motorizing both the upper and lower stations can be advantageous. I tested it with a PF-XL motor, but thanks to the gearing, it’s also compatible with other motors for smooth operation.
Example: Setup with Mountain
Setup and tips
Using baseplates alone is not ideal for the setup. A stable MILS (Modular Integrated Landscaping System) or a similar construction is recommended. This allows for greater tension and wider spacing between supports. The two supports close to the stations should, just like in real life, be built near the stations.
For steep inclines, it’s beneficial to place two supports in succession. Angle bricks can be used here, allowing the support to align parallel to the incline of the rope. Understanding weight distribution is also an advantage in achieving a balanced and realistic setup.
Contents of the instruction manual and additional information
All parts are currently available on lego.ch.* The mountain design is highly customizable, allowing you to achieve heights of over 40 bricks! Have fun – Pascal and Thomas
Please note, the mountain itself is not included in the instructions! The manual covers the mountain and valley stations, as well as three supports. The chair details are also thoroughly described.
One last request: please don’t try to replicate the lift just from the pictures. Support gallusbrick® by purchasing the building plan!
Best regards and thank you,
Pascal and Thomas
